This brilliant facial polish from Rio Rosa Mosqueta contains lots of lovely ingredients to nourish and moisturise the skin, such as avocado oil, shea butter and rosa mosquito oil, with chamomile to soothe and bamboo powder to smooth.
When I think back to the awful scrubs I used to use as a teen that felt like they were ripping my face to shreds… *shudders*. This one, though, has the perfect amount of “scrubby bits” (not sure of the technical term…) i.e. a lot. This means it feels like it’s actually doing something with minimal effort, so I don’t get carried away and overdo it.
I use it whenever my skin needs a pick-me-up, about once every 1 or 2 weeks. It might sound a bit odd, but I also use it on my hands and it’s the best I’ve tried for this. I think hands are often overlooked, but I like to use a scrub on them 2 or 3 times a week, followed by a lovely oil. My hands feel beautifully soft and smooth, and maybe the ravages of time will be a little kinder to them.
Might I add that, at less than £9 for 100ml (most are 75ml or less), this is really good value. I likes it a lot.
